In this blog post I want to explore how to use one of the newer dynamic array functions called GroupBy. In conventional Excel formulas, you create your formula and copy it down. With a dynamic array function, you create the formula and it captures all the data that relates to it. The beauty of it is if you use a table with it and then add more data to the table, your formula updates automatically to show that.
However you do need to be aware that you can only edit a dynamic array function where you originally entered it. You can’t edit it anywhere else.
