So another one of my Judge Judy cases (“Real cases, real people”) . So recently in a training course I got asked about how to create a pivot table that DIDN’T update. Hm, I was intrigued and so here’s this blog post.
I begin by creating a pivot table and then a pivot chart.
Then I tried to copy and paste the chart as Values Only. Turns out that’s not quite what happens. What needs to be done is the pivot table to be pasted as Values and then create the chart from that. So here’s how I did it.
