How to print in Excel – Introduction

Ah, printing the bane of Excel users lives. So many people struggle with this. The stories I could tell.

  • Copying and pasting into word
  • Sellotaping and gluing the headings across the top of the page.
  • Stapling the headings across the top.

It doesn’t have to be that hard people, really it doesn’t.

In this video we are going to look at the following.

  1. Two locations to set your printing options from: File | Print and Page Layout
  2. Getting the sheet to fit on the page: main options: width and doing the single page option (from both options)
  3. Printing your titles across the top (or on the left of every page)
  4. Adding a page number
  5. Adding/removing gridlines
