I love reviewing my year and thinking about what I want for the new year. For this year, I want to make “content/writing” a priority. To that aim I am planning to do the following:
- Send out a newsletter every week
- Update the content of my website. A lot of the videos had stopped working, had related to very old versions of Excel and I want to revamp all those. There’s over 100 that need revamping – yikes!
- Complete the new book which has a moving title of Make Excel your b***h/your superpower. The plan is to publish that by September/October. If you would like to be on priority list for that, you can sign up here. It’s a book for people who get dumped with Excel sheets when they usually have little/no experience of how to work with Excel. I want to help readers have a reframe around Excel, to see it as a fascinating puzzle (one with rules – every puzzle has rules) rather than a punishment. It breaks my heart when I see so many people (women in particular) hold themselves back because they fear Excel.
- Improving my Camtasia skills – I am going to complete the Camtasia : Explorer Certification
- Update my PowerBI certification – #smugalert. Yes, I have already done that.
- Hopefully create more online courses. I have one on Excel Essentials and the follow up – Excel the second floor. I do think that there is scope there for ones doing a deeper dive into specific Excel topics.
- I also have a couple of trips lined up in 2024, going to France and Italy.
- I am lucky enough to have a lot of training work lined up for 2024 but I am also planning to work with someone to help raise my training game. Always room for improvement 🙂
I do have another secret goal which I am preparing for already. However I want to hold that close to my chest…
